Site Supervisor (Part Time)

Description:We are looking for a person to provide ongoing supervision and support to individuals to maintain and improve work performance at a work site. The Site Supervisor will promote each individual’s overall goal to achieve complete autonomy in the workplace. This position is Monday thru Friday 11-4 pm and/or 3-7 pm in Santa Clara and/or San Jose. Site Supervisors begin part-time with the opportunity to move to full-time, benefit-earning employment. Duties:As a Site Supervisor you will provide on-the-job support to three individuals in order to develop skills, structure, and tools to encourage their continued growth and independence in the workplace. This includes 1:3 support and training at the worksite; completing weekly, monthly, and annual paperwork; and building professional, value-added relationships with employer, key staff, and support networks.
Qualifications:Must be minimum of 18 years old Education: High School or equivalent required; BA/BS in psychology or related field preferred. Experience: 1 – 3 years working with people with developmental disabilities. Substitution: Combination of equivalent experience and education Communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing; project a professional & positive image at all times; Valid driver’s license, proper automobile insurance and vehicle registration. Must have reliable transportation Pre Employment Requirements: Clearance with the Department of Justice by completing a fingerprint background check Post Employment Requirements: Physical, 2-step Tb test Current CPR/First Aid Certification or the ability to become certified in CPR and First Aid Physical activity requirements include: • Ability to push large adults in wheelchairs • Ability to do physically demanding work including standing for extended times per shift.
